Chuandixia Village Day Tour

Chuandixia village or be called Cuandixia village 90 kilometers/55miles downtown Beijing, is considered a “pearl” of the traditional village of China. Chuandixia has established a rich history, first, there are more than 500 years of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The Chuangdixia Village in the flooded city and the village abandoned. Currently, there are only 14 families with more than 30 people who still live here. Thus, the Chuangdixia village is very well maintained, and froze in their history, a “living museum” of Beijing. It is a priceless treasure in terms of historical antiques, architecture, art and social studies.

TRIP ITINERARY:

Trip Day : Chuandixia Village

Our well-trained English-speaking tour guide will pick you up between 8 ： 00am and 8:30am based on your convenient time and in your designated location. Drive to the get to the Chuan Di Xia village.

To Chuandixia Village, first trip west along National Road No. 109. Away than 80 km from Beijing, you can be reached in a town named Zhai Tang Zhen. Turn north and drive another 10 km before the village-Chuan Di Xia. Driving time to reach the village, is approximately 3 hours.

After a short rest and fresh up, lunch will be arranged at about 12:00 noon.

Touring around the ancient Chandixia village, hiking on the mountains nearby, listening to the stories given by the aged local people in the Chuandixia village and visit the local family as well. People are very friendly in the Chuandixia village.

You will be transferred back to the Beijing downtown by 18:00.
