Ming Tombs, Great Wall at Badaling

Drive 1.5 hours to the Ming Tombs. The tomb is located 60 kilometers north of Beijing, Ming Tombs, the mausoleums of 13 Ming emperors. Changling is the most famous. Construction Changling was started in 1409 and 1427 visit Changling 1 hour.

After lunch, we visit the Summer Palace -20 km northwest of central Beijing. The Summer Palace is the largest imperial garden of Ming and Qing dynasties. The whole Summer Palace covers an area of 290 ha, of which more than 3000 buildings such as halls, pavilions, towers, etc.
After the tour we will visit the Chinese store fresh water pearl near Summer Palace. It is a great place to buy a necklace or bracelet. It is a very good gift from China. Transfer to the hotel after a full day.

After breakfast, start your tour with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the largest square in the world. Then go to the Forbidden City, the Chinese imperial palace of the Ming Dynasty in the mid-end of the Qing dynasty.

- Temple of Heaven (1.5 hours): The Temple of Heaven, literally the Altar of Heaven complex of Taoist buildings situated in the south-east of central Beijing, Chongwen District. The complex is visited by the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies praying to heaven for good harvests. He is regarded as a Taoist temple, although Chinese Heaven worship, especially the reigning monarch in the day, pre-dates Taoism.

- Mutianyu Great Wall (with round cable trays) (2:00): This is a section of the road less traveled to the Great Wall at approximately 2.5 hours drive from downtown Beijing. Cable car takes you to a good section (avoiding a very steep climb), where you can walk along the wall, through the watch towers and enjoy the view, like a snake through the hills and mountains. You can return by cable car or walk down along the wall for about an hour to descend by chairlift. Wear good walking shoes and protection against the elements.
